Rental Moving Boxes – Are They Worth It?

There’s always been the need for something easier and less hassling that could make packing and shifting a house or office simpler. Yes, there is the option of using cardboard boxes. However, cardboard boxes are the reason behind more than half of the problems and hassles related to shifting. If you’re in Quebec and looking forward to shifting into a new home or office within the city, then, you’re in luck. GoBac company has started offering modern packing replacements for obsolete cardboard boxes: the GoBac moving cartons.

Wondering what makes these shifting cartons better than cardboard boxes and whether or not they’re worth the attention they’re getting? Well, we have all the answers and we have listed them below. Dive in!

These Cartons are Stronger and More Spacious than Cardboard Boxes

A standard moving cardboard box measures no more than 18″x15″x12.5″. On the other hand, a GoBac shifting box measures 27″x12″x18″. Clearly, it will accommodate a lot more than a cardboard box. Besides, it is made of very high-quality durable plastic. Hence, it’s safer for shifting fragile items too.

These Moving Boxes make Packing Hassle-free

You don’t have to use tape to close GoBac moving boxes. That’s one hassle removed. Other benefits are as follows.

    1. The latching system isn’t cheap. It’s a very strong secure system that won’t split open during shifting.
    2. Unlike cardboard boxes that are your duty to dispose of, GoBac boxes are picked up by the renting company.

    These Moving Boxes are Cheaper

Buying cardboard boxes would require a lot more money than renting GoBac boxes. The approximate figures (excluding the delivery and pickup charges) are as follows.

    1. 79$ for 25 bins for a week.
    2. 109$ for 35 bins for a week.
    3. 149$ for 50 bins for a week.
    4. 219$ for 70 bins for a week.

You can also extend the booking duration at minimal rates on a weekly basis.

If you compare this cost with the cost of buying cardboard boxes, you’ll yourself figure out the amount of money you’ll be saving.

These Shifting Cartons are not a Threat to the Environment

Cardboard boxes are made from wood. GoBac bins, on the other hand, are made of high-quality plastic. However, they’re not discarded in the open. Instead, they’re reused again and again after disinfection. Clearly, they do not harm the environment.

On a parting note, do request a quotation from the company or discuss your specific requirements with the customer support executives to save as much money as possible.
