    Ceramic tiles have been choices of interior designers and builders because there are wide variety of colour, texture and pattern. Moreover, the shine and glazed effect of the ceramic tiles add to the beauty of the floor and the interior. With new technology advancements today’s ceramic tiles come in various styles which are strikingly similar to natural marbles, slates, granite, natural stone and travertines. 

    Glazed ceramic and porcelain tiles are good choices for bathroom, kitchen, living room and bed rooms flooring. Moreover, if you wish you change your curtains and upholstery you can easily do it as this type of flooring compliments any type of colours and fabrics.

    Wall tile

    Ceramic tiles are chosen primarily for their durability. Most of the wall ceramic tiles come with heavy gloss and sheen effect. However, you can also go for medium sheen and matte surfaces, as per your décor requirements. 

    Needless to say, the glazed surfaces are slippery and no dust can easily stick on. These glazed wall tiles are suitable for walls and kitchen countertops. These are not meant for floors as there are high chances of falling down. 

    Glazed Ceramic Tile

    Glazed ceramic tile are mainly made up of natural clay and water, which then undergoes a heavy compression process. These days most of the glazed ceramic ones have various clay which are finely grained. Hence this form such a strong bond. The pressed solid structure is later dried to reduce the moisture content. 

    Then the colour glaze coating is taken place. The glaze is then carefully fused within the pores by firing them inside the kilns at temperature approximately to 2000 degree Fahrenheit. After a long and tedious process, the glazed ceramic tiles are formed which can last more than a decade. 

    Porcelain tile

    Porcelain tiles are better form of glazed ceramic tiles as they consist of clay and sand which is finely grained to form a closed bond. The molecules are very dense and makes it very resistant to moisture, stains. Moreover, it can also handle daily wear and tear of high traffic areas like kitchen and bathroom, within losing its lustre.
